Something I learned about myself

I am very aware that there are things I suck at.

When people tell me I suck at the things I suck at, I don't tell them "I know" because I don't want to come off as arrogant/full of myself.

I try to be polite, I take their feedback, and remind myself to work on it, and say OK.

But some things I make really slow progress on.

So when I am reminded multiple times that I suck at something, or a problem is made out of something I'm trying really hard to improve on that I am aware is a problem, but I'm 99% perfect in every other way and it's just a small imperfect detail that is difficult for me to work on that I am trying to work on, I take it really personally.

It takes a lot to drive me to that point, but I've had it happen to me a couple of times in the past week or two. It's sobering.
